ROCKY RIVER: Fred Sokol, Chair Stop Abortion in Rocky River Committee has come up with an answer to ‘a potential’ pro-abortion challenge in Rocky River. 

• Sokol will secure [1.] pro-life legal counsel locally and nationally and [2.] establish a new policy [rule] that will direct Stop Abortion in Rocky River Committee’s future peaceful and legal pro-life activities in Rocky River, Ohio.

• To counteract as he sees it … a ‘potential’ pro-abortion challenge against his pro-lifers in Rocky River in the future … consider the following past ‘potential’ challenges:

PAST POTENTIAL PRO-ABORTION CHALLENGES IN ROCKY RIVER, OHIO

SATURDAY MORNING JULY 11, 2009: “A DRENCHING”

• Saturday Morning July 11, 2009 a police car, a government white pickup truck, a bus, and a civilian truck that lowered its ‘front snowplow blade’ … ran through a flood of water in front of us … and drenched us. 

• As we stood in front of Rocky River Health Center [Planned Parenthood].  While a driving wind, torrential downpour and electrical storm was taking place.  Why us?  Was it an accident?

• Was it because we prayed the 15 decade Holy Rosary, Chaplet of Divine Mercy and displayed graphic abortion signs in front of Rocky River Health Center [Planned Parenthood] 20800 Center Ridge Road that offers ... “Abortion pill (medication abortion) … up to 9 weeks after the start of your last menstrual period.”

• We pro-lifers have a ‘civil right’ to peacefully gather and to express our opinion regarding abortion in Rocky River.  As a non-attorney I do understand the United States Constitution is the Law of the United States.

TUESDAY EVENING JUNE 30, 2009: “FOOD FIGHT”

• A 'FOOD FIGHT LIKE’ REACTION [ON JUNE 30, 2009] TO OUR DISPLAYED GRAPHIC ABORTION SIGNS IN ROCKY RIVER, OHIO [see original full story]

·         ROCKY RIVER - Fred Sokol, Chair - Stop Abortion in Rocky River Committee describes Tuesday, June 30, 2009 - Pro-Life Rosary Praying and Graphic Abortion Sign Display [in front of Rocky River Health Center [Planned Parenthood] 20800 Center Ridge Road that offers ... “Abortion pill (medication abortion) … up to 9 weeks after the start of your last menstrual period.” ] as a Food Fight in Rocky River.  

·         PRO-LIFE VS. PRO-DEATH FOOD FIGHT

·         Motorists, Police and an Area Employee all reacted to the pro-lifers graphic abortion sign display in their own positive and negative way.  

·         MOTORISTS

·         Motorists were very vocal both pro and con that Tuesday Night.  They were supportive, antagonistic and crude. 

·         Pro-death motorists tried in vain to goad pro-lifers on both sides of the street to act up.  While sometimes I viewed Rocky River police cars nearby the antagonistic motorists.  [I assumed the police were there to protect us.]  Pro-death motorists also cursed, made obscene gestures and screamed at us. 

·         POLICE - ROCKY RIVER - FAIRVIEW PARK - WESTLAKE - WHY?

·         Rocky River Police Cars along with a Fairview Park Police Car and Westlake Police Car appeared by the pro-lifers and their graphic abortion sign display on Tuesday night in the Rocky River Area in front of Rocky River Health Center [Planned Parenthood] on that Tuesday night. 

·         Why a Fairview Park and a Westlake Police Car in the Rocky River Area in front of Rocky River Health Center [Planned Parenthood] on that Tuesday night? 

·         AN AREA EMPLOYEE TRIES TO 'SHOO-AWAY' PRO-LIFERS DISPLAYING GRAPHIC ABORTION SIGNS AND THE EMPLOYEE GETS 'SHOOED-AWAY'.

·         An employee came out of his place of employment Tuesday night and angrily approached the pro-lifers who displayed the graphic abortion signs.  Then with a gesture of his arms and his hands, like an older woman trying to shoo away pigeons on a sidewalk. 

·         The employee tried his best to shoo away the determined pro-lifers who ignored the employee and continued to display their graphic abortion signs to the passing motorists. 

·         Seeing that the shooing failed to work, the employee then tried hollering at the pro-lifers displaying the graphic abortion signs.  That didn't work either.  The employee then stormed away in disgust.

• We pro-lifers have a ‘civil right’ to peacefully gather and to express our opinion regarding abortion in Rocky River.  If others do not agree with us let them show it in a peaceful way as well and not in an antagonistic way.  As a non-attorney I do understand the United States Constitution is the Law of the United States.

TUESDAY EVENING APRIL 28, 2009: “LIMITED FREE SPEECH”

• Tuesday Evening April 28, 2009 two Rocky River policemen in separate police cars were sent to Rocky River Health Center [Planned Parenthood] while I and approximately 15 pro-lifers stood in front of said Center.  One policeman approached us while the other policeman stayed in his parked police car next door. 

• Said Rocky River policeman told us ‘Rosary Praying’ peaceful Pro-Life Demonstrators [on Tuesday, April 28^th 2009] that we were limited to only eight protestors in front of Rocky River Health Center [Planned Parenthood].

• A 20 year old City Ordinance 510.03 NUMBER OF PICKETS PERMITTED [see original full story and full text of said City Ordinance] limits picketers to just 4 per driveway.  Rocky River Health Center [Planned Parenthood] has two driveways thus 8 protestors are only allowed. 

• The Rocky River Policeman then told us to leave 8 pro-lifers in front of Rocky River Health Center [Planned Parenthood].  Then disperse the remaining pro-lifers to other driveways and we did.

• We pro-lifers have a ‘civil right’ to peacefully gather and express our opinion regarding abortion in Rocky River … and not to be limited in number.  Again as a non-attorney I do understand the United States Constitution is the Law of the United States.  

SOKOL TO ESTABLISH NEW POLICY [RULE] THAT WILL DIRECT STOP ABORTION IN ROCKY RIVER COMMITTEE’S FUTURE PRO-LIFE ACTIVITIES IN ROCKY RIVER, OHIO.  

• To counteract as Sokol sees it … a ‘potential’ pro-abortion challenge against his pro-lifers in Rocky River … consider the following ‘pro-life policies’:

ESTABLISH LEGAL COUNSEL BOTH LOCALLY AND NATIONALLY.

• As a non-attorney I see the wisdom of establishing a pro-life legal representation both locally and nationally for our pro-lifers in Rocky River.  So at anytime pro-lifers in Rocky River will have a source for pro-life legal advice.  Also a source to pursue legal litigation against those who may allegedly compromise our legal and peaceful pursuits in protesting abortion in Rocky River.

ESTABLISH ‘LEGAL AND PEACEFUL’ PRO-LIFE CONDUCT WHILE PROTESTING ABORTION IN ROCKY RIVER, OHIO.

• AS CHAIR OF STOP ABORTION IN ROCKY RIVER COMMITTEE I SEE A ‘POTENTIAL’ PRO-ABORTION CHALLENGE AGAINST PRO-LIFERS IN ROCKY RIVER. It has led me as Chair of Stop Abortion in Rocky River Committee to establish ‘a legal and peaceful conduct’ for our pro-lifers protesting abortion in Rocky River in the future.

• MINIMUM OF TWO PRO-LIFERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PROTEST ABORTION AT ANYTIME IN ROCKY RIVER, OHIO.  Any pro-lifer from my group MUST be accompanied by at least one additional pro-life protestor … whenever protesting abortion in Rocky River.

• RECORDING DEVICES REQUIRED FOR PRO-LIFERS IN ROCKY RIVER.  The pro-lifer will equip themselves [have on their person] either a [1.] Digital Camera [2.] Digital Camcorder [3.] Cell Phone [4.] or wear A Wire [a recording device].  To be able to record persons, places or events allegedly responsible in compromising the pro-lifer’s legal pro-life activities in Rocky River.  Said recordings could be used in possible future litigation.

• WHEN PRO-LIFERS ARE CONFRONTED BY PRO-DEATH PEOPLE IN ROCKY RIVER [A PRO-LIFE RESPONSE].  Our pro-lifers will not participate in conversation with them.  Nor will we antagonize a pro-death person who is trying to antagonize us.  If conversation is necessary say simply, “God Bless You and Have a Nice Day.”  Then walk away from them and continue to display your graphic abortion sign legally and peacefully to the public somewhere else.

• WHY WE DISPLAY GRAPHIC ABORTION SIGNS [A PRO-LIFE ANSWER].  When our pro-lifers in Rocky River are asked why they are displaying graphic abortion signs in Rocky River.  They will say, “This graphic abortion sign shows the Truth about Abortion and I have a legal right to peacefully display it.”  If further conversation is necessary say simply, “God Bless You and Have a Nice Day.”  Then walk away from them and continue to display your graphic abortion sign legally and peacefully to the public somewhere else.

IN CLOSING

• I write about the negative occurrences from people to show how God tests us to trust in Him.  That He will one day give us the final victory of stopping abortion in Rocky River.  I know what God does for people who put their trust in Him.  God is with us every time we stand in front of Rocky River Health Center [Planned Parenthood].  I sense Him.  I feel Him.  I see Him through the people that continue to encourage us as well.  I even feel sad as the time is about to end for our protest to be over on any given day.  I want to stay and continue to stand up for the unborn.  I want to stay to continue to preach the ‘Gospel of Life’ to the public that sees us.  I want to continue to pray the Rosary.  I even have incorporated the meditations from the Rosary for Life when I lead the Rosary at Our Lady of Angels Church.  I even witnessed a miraculous conversion recently.  God is telling me He is Near!  

FINALLY

• Though we are challenged by pro-death people in Rocky River.  We pro-lifers are strong in Christ Jesus Our Savior and Our Lord, His Eternal Father and The Holy Spirit being among us, blessing and protecting our pro-life efforts. 

• God is in control!  I will continue to trust in Him who Created the Universe … I will continue to trust in Him who Created Humanity!

MEDITATION: WE PRO-LIFERS

We pro-lifers are the ‘Children of the Resurrection’ we are the ‘Children of the Life’ and we have in our midst everyday He who came before us, Jesus Christ, The Way, The Truth and The Life.  If we say we are Christian and Pro-Life … how else, should we act other than the way Our Savior and Our Lord would act as well.

PRAYER: TEACH US OH LORD YOUR LOVE THAT IS UNSPOKEN!

We pray Oh Lord that our cause is just, our cause is good and that You Oh God see in our heart that our wish is Your Wish.  Then You Oh God Who Art in Heaven will bring ‘Heaven and Love’ to Earth for ‘us’ who wish Your Kingdom Come on Earth as it is in Heaven I ask this in Jesus Name.  Praise Be To God, Praise Be His Holy Name, Praise Be to His Son, Praise Be to The Holy Spirit One God Forever and Ever Who is, Who was and Who is to come as He is Ours and to anyone who wishes that He take hold of His or Her Heart, Body and Soul, Amen.
